Editorial Inspired Mountain Bridals in Glacier National Park, Montana
These stylish bridals were taken in Montana, right next to Glacier National Park, inside of the ROAM campgrounds.
We had loads of fun running in the wildflowers and grassy fields. Then we ended the night with a flash photo session. I’ll never get over how magical flash can be. Ya’ll! Personally I think every couple needs some flash photos in their wedding album to remember the romance and excitement of the day.
I’m ALWAYS telling my couples to make their elopement what they want to do. To make the day as unique as their relationship, because they only get to elope once. So make your elopement day YOURS!!

Where did this epic shoot take place? Let’s take a moment to talk about this location. How can we not?!
First. Glacier is amazing. Everybody knows that. I can go on and on about Glacier National Park (which I will absolutely hype that place up), but let’s talk about ROAM.
ROAM Beyond is a campground that has a passion for sustainability and the outdoors. They have multiple locations around the US, such as Glacier and Olympic National Park. (More coming soon!) When you stay at ROAM you are pretty much “glamping” in the comfort of the outdoors. It’s truly amazing.
I love camping, and will rough it out more often then not. But you know… I’m always down to treat myself! And this is where it’s at. ROAM has a lounge area that is the perfect place to hang out with your fam and friends, as well as a cozy campfire for long conversations.
These shots were taken right on ROAM’s property. Tthe trailers were not too far from where we were shooting.
What the heck do you do about the BUGS?! It does depend on the time of the year, but man…we came to ROAM during the prime time for bugs to come out. It could have been worse, but I’m not sure one person got away with no mosquito bites! Below you’ll find my four personal tips to minimize bug bites during a shoot.
Bug spray! (obviously) But did you know you can also find bug wipes, wrist bands, and patches to decrease the amount of bites you get.
MOVE. If you’re in one spot for too long, the bugs gather. Keep moving!
More clothing coverage equals less bites. (sometimes) My ankles get DESTROYED because they’re usually exposed. So, if I remember, which is 3% of the time, I try to cover my ankles if bugs are out!
Stay away from bodies of water. Sometimes you just want to shoot in the water, but just know, that’s usually where the bugs are the worst!
